Tour costs are based on a minimum of 16–20 participants, double occupancy, and are subject to change. Space is limited.
Each guest must complete their own registration form. Couples may share a room, but registrations are submitted individually.

Airport transfers are included only within 48 hours before and after the tour dates; otherwise you are responsible for your own arrangements.

Documents & Visa
- A valid passport is required (must be valid 6 months beyond departure)
- Keep your passport secure at all times
- Carry a photocopy separately and leave one at home
Visa:
US, Canadian, British citizens and EU members may obtain a visa upon arrival in Istanbul (~$25 cash — no photo required).
Travel Arrangements
We are happy to assist with selecting flights to Istanbul.
Once booked:
- We will coordinate airport pickup for the day before or day of tour start
- Depending on your arrival times, you may choose to schedule an extra night at our Istanbul hotel at the beginning or end of your journey
If arriving early or staying after, please book your own hotel accommodations and notify us of your arrival date and time.
Trip Insurance (Strongly Recommended)
This journey is a meaningful financial investment. We strongly recommend:
- “Cancel for Any Reason” coverage — preferred by most guests
- Medical and emergency evacuation coverage
- Baggage protection
Insurance must typically be purchased within 14–21 days of your deposit to receive full benefits, including coverage for pre-existing conditions. We do not offer tour refunds for any reason.
This insurance covers US citizens departing from the US. Non-US citizens should seek a local agent.
Health & Preparation
- No vaccinations are currently required for those departing from the US or Europe
- Consult your physician for personal guidance
- Bring all necessary medications and personal medical supplies
- Good physical condition enhances the experience for you and the group
Cost Adjustments
Tour pricing is set well in advance of our travel dates and is based on current costs at the time of publication. In rare and exceptional circumstances — such as significant changes in currency exchange rates, fuel costs, taxes, or other factors beyond our control — an adjustment to the tour price may be necessary.
While we make every effort to absorb these changes and avoid any increases, we reserve the right to adjust pricing if required prior to departure. Price adjustments, should they occur, are not grounds for refund of payments made toward the tour. Completion of your registration indicates acceptance of this policy.
For peace of mind, we share that in all our years of leading tours, we have never had to implement a price increase prior to departure.
Cancellation Policy
- No refunds are issued for any reason
- In the event of cancellation, please notify our office in writing so we can assist you in filing insurance claims
- Travel insurance — particularly “Cancel for Any Reason” coverage — is strongly recommended
Responsibility
William Henry acts only as agent for independent Travel Suppliers (hotels, airlines, bus companies, cruise lines, sightseeing companies). These suppliers are independent contractors who provide the accommodations, transportation, and services described in this document.
By participating in this tour, you agree that neither William Henry nor any of his agents or employees shall be liable for any delay, change in itinerary, loss, damage, or injury to your person or property, including that caused by acts of God, terrorist acts, governmental or political actions, civil unrest, fires, theft, epidemics, quarantine, medical or customs regulations, or any failure on the part of any Travel Supplier.
William Henry is not financially responsible for cancellation of all or part of any tour due to acts of war, nature, governmental action, civil unrest, terrorism, or default of any Travel Supplier, or for any reason beyond his control.
William Henry is not responsible for any physical, mental, emotional, or other reaction, trauma, or ailment during or after the trip that participants may experience at sites or from any leaders, workshops, or sessions of any kind. Attendance on the trip indicates acceptance of this provision.
The Tour Director reserves the right to decline to accept or retain any person whose health, behavior, or deportment impedes tour operations or the enjoyment and safety of other guests. No refund will be given in such cases.
Guest payments are non-transferrable to other guests at any time.
